My practice exists at the intersection of fashion history, identity, and emotional sublimation. I work primarily within conceptual editorial styling rather than personal styling, using clothing as a language to articulate inner states, memory, and cultural inheritance. Visually, my work is deeply informed by medieval and Victorian aesthetics, as well as late 19th-century silhouettes. I am drawn to lace, sheer structures, sculptural layering, cooler tonal palettes, armor references, and pastel restraint. These historical elements are not used nostalgically, but rather as tools to reinterpret femininity and vulnerability in a contemporary context. There is a quiet intensity and textural sensitivity in Armenian visual heritage that informs my approach to silhouette and composition. I have worked with vintage shops and developed a strong observational understanding of archival garments, which continues to shape my aesthetic language. I consider myself a deeply visual thinker. Every project begins with atmosphere - light, texture, posture, narrative - and evolves into a cohesive visual statement, not a trend-based look.
