Freedom Is Expensive
A live and recording experience where sound carries ideas — not identities.
Freedom Is eXpensive is a guerrilla movement for an indifferent generation, conditioned to seek out entertainment in place of Freedom.
Short Bio:
Freedom Is eXpensive emerges from the 50-year legacy of the legendary Armenian folk-rock band Bambir, transforming a cross-generational foundation into an immediate and disobedient new voice.
While Bambir continues to evolve its catalog rooted in the Armenian language and tradition, Freedom Is Expensive moves in a different direction—explosive, louder, and rebellious. Conceived as both a live and recording experience, F.I.X. operates as a guerrilla movement, blurring the line between performance and statement. Drawing from rock, electronic energy, and powerful instinctive musicianship, it creates a place where the stage is evidence and the audience is there to witness.
Freedom Is Expensive speaks to anyone, anywhere, beyond borders, generations, and control. F.I.X. is preparing two albums for release in 2026. The first, “THE FIX” explores the “hungry ghosts” within and is scheduled for release by the end of the summer. The second, the self-titled “Freedom Is Expensive,” gathers tracks previously released as singles, now reimagined with new recordings and mixes, and will arrive as a full album by the end of the year.
