Artist, art historian, and curator.
He graduated from the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Art, in 2008 and defended his PhD in Art History in 2011 with the thesis "The Historiography of Armenian Medieval Art in the Armenian Periodical Press of the Late 19th and Early 20th Centuries".
In 2009-2010, he completed the Cultural Project Management program at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Yerevan. Armenak has participated in numerous projects as both artist and curator, and curated the 2017 Festival of Alternative Art at the Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art in Yerevan.
Grigoryan is currently a professor of drawing and sketching at the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia.
He is also a member of the Art Studio at the Ashot Johannissyan Research Institute in the Humanities.
