Armenia’s Creative Capital Takes Centre Stage

Yerevan, Armenia - October 2026. Yerevan Fashion Week 2026 returns this October for its fourth edition, bringing together Armenian and international designers, global fashion media, buyers, creative professionals and audiences for four days of fashion, culture and international creative exchange.
Organized by the Fashion Chamber of Armenia in partnership with Yerevan Municipality as general sponsor, together with international and local partners, YFW 2026 will present 20+ runway shows and presentations, the YFW Showroom, Fashion Talks, exhibitions, special installations and professional networking opportunities, positioning Yerevan as a growing center for fashion and creativity at the crossroads of Europe and the wider region.
The international guest programme will bring together fashion media and industry professionals, including representatives and contributors from Vogue, Harper’s BAZAAR, ELLE, FashionUnited, Metal Magazine and Fucking Young! alongside independent fashion journalists, stylists, buyers, PR professionals and creative consultants.
From Erebuni to Contemporary Yerevan
This year, Yerevan Fashion Week takes place during the Erebuni-Yerevan celebrations, with its programme built around the central idea “Pink City Yerevan.”
The official opening will introduce “Ancient Gods: From Erebuni to Contemporary Yerevan” special fashion and cultural installation at the Erebuni Historical and Archaeological Reserve-Museum and Erebuni Fortress. Around 30 mannequins will present selected works by Armenian young designers, with a particular focus on emerging talents from Fashion Scout Armenia. Inspired by ancient Armenian mythology, symbols, historical figures and stories, the installation will bring contemporary fashion into dialogue with the archaeological landscape through fashion, light, music and visual storytelling. The opening reflects the broader vision of YFW 2026: connecting Armenia’s cultural heritage with contemporary creativity and the international fashion industry.

Fashion Scout Armenia the fourth edition of the talent-development programme connecting emerging Armenian designers with international mentors and industry experts, with the winner receiving the opportunity to present at London Fashion Week, scholarship to Polimoda course, Mayor’s prize.
YFW Showroom curated selection of 30+ Armenian fashion, clothes, accessories, jewelry brands, open to the public from October 9-11.
Fashion Talks discussions with Armenian and international experts on market access, creative entrepreneurship, sustainability, technology, communication and the future of fashion.
Exhibitions & Installations interdisciplinary projects connecting fashion with art, craftsmanship, heritage, technology and visual culture.

More than a fashion event, Yerevan Fashion Week contributes to the development of Armenia’s creative economy and cultural tourism, introducing international guests to the country’s fashion, architecture, heritage, contemporary arts, gastronomy and creative communities. Yerevan Fashion Week 2026 is a platform where Armenian heritage meets contemporary design, and where Yerevan continues to define its place on the global creative map.
Founded in 2017, the Fashion Chamber of Armenia represents a network of more than 250 designers, brands, manufacturers, craftspeople and creative professionals. Through education, international partnerships, market-access initiatives, sustainability programmes and industry development, the Chamber works to strengthen Armenia’s fashion ecosystem and connect Armenian creativity with global markets.
